To Be His Bride

Jesus referred to those who have a deep and close relationship with Him as His bride.  Since the Lord used the parable of five wise and five virgins in connection with preparation for the wedding feast, this may indicate that although all believers are saved and live with Him in heaven, not all believers will be part of His bride.  Five of the virgins were foolish and missed out on the wedding feast because they didn't prepare by taking plenty of oil. This may tie in with the truth, "many are called but only a few are chosen."  Only those who have a close personal relationship with Jesus are His bride.  Those who fully love Him, store up oil and follow Him wherever He leads will "marry" Him.  The Holy Spirit is the One who prepares us to be Jesus' bride.  May He lead you into being one of that company!
