| Jesus is the Saviour.
Matthew 1:21—Thou shalt call his name JESUS; for it is he that shall save his people from their sins.
John 1:29—Behold, the Lamb of God, that taketh away the sin of the world!
Luke 19:10—For the Son of man came to seek and to save that which was lost.
1 Timothy 1:15—Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.
1 John 4:8-9,14—God is love. Herein was the love of God manifested in us, that God hath sent his only begotten Son into the world that we might live through him...And we have beheld and bear witness that the Father hath sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

Jesus saved us by dying for us.
He never sinned, but He took on Himself our guilt and the punishment for our sins.
2 Corinthians 5:21—Him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf; that we might become the righteousness of God in him.
Isaiah 53:5-6—He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and Jehovah hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
1 Peter 3:18—Christ also suffered for sins once, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God.
John 10:11—I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd layeth down his life for the sheep.
John 15:13—Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
Romans 5:8—But God commendeth his own love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
What happens when we accept Jesus' salvation?
Our sins are forgiven.
Matthew 9:2—Son, be of good cheer; thy sins are forgiven.
Ephesians 1:7 KJV—In whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.
Isaiah 43:25—I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake; and I will not remember thy sins.
Micah 7:19—Thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
Psalm 103:12—As far as the East is from the West, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
Isaiah 1:18—Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow.
Hebrews 9:14—How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish unto God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
Revelation 7:14—They washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
Jeremiah 31:33-34—But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith Jehovah: I will put my law in their inward parts, and in their heart will I write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people: and they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know Jehovah; for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith Jehovah: for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin will I remember no more.
We have peace with God.
2 Corinthians 5:19-20—God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself...We beseech you on behalf of Christ, be ye reconciled to God.
Romans 5:1—Being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 2:13—But now in Christ Jesus ye that once were far off are made nigh in the blood of Christ.
Colossians 1:12-13—Giving thanks unto the Father, who made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light; who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of his love.
We have eternal life.
John 5:24—He that heareth my word, and believeth him that sent me, hath eternal life, and cometh not into judgment, but hath passed out of death into life.
John 6:47—Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth hath eternal life.
Luke 10:20—Rejoice that your names are written in heaven.
We become children of God.
John 1:12—As many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, even to them that believe on his name: who were born...of God.
Galatians 3:26—For ye are all sons of God, through faith, in Christ Jesus.
Romans 8:15-16—Ye received the spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit himself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are children of God.
2 Corinthians 5:17—Wherefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: the old things are passed away; behold, they are become new.
Jesus' death becomes our death, and His resurrection gives us a new life.
Romans 6:6—Our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away, that so we should no longer be in bondage to sin.
Galatians 2:20—I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I that live, but Christ liveth in me: and that life which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the faith which is in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.
Ephesians 2:4-5—But God, being rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ.
2 Corinthians 5:14-15—One died for all, therefore all died; and he died for all, that they that live should no longer live unto themselves, but unto him who for their sakes died and rose again.
1 Peter 2:24—Who his own self bare our sins in his body upon the tree, that we, having died unto sins, might live unto righteousness; by whose stripes ye were healed.

The shedding of Christ's blood on our behalf has purchased our eternal redemption and also releases His power in our lives to live in victory. Not only does He forgive us, but He provides freedom from the patterns of sin. While there may be a process involved in which the Holy Spirit leads us into the fullness of victory, the victory was purchased on the cross from the very beginning.
Romans 1:16—For I am not ashamed of the gospel: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth.
John 8:36—If therefore the Son shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
Hebrews 7:25—Wherefore also he is able to save to the uttermost them that draw near unto God through him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
Psalm 130:7—For with Jehovah there is lovingkindness, And with him is plenteous redemption.
Philippians 2:13—for it is God who worketh in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure.
Isaiah 12:2-3—Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid: for Jehovah, even Jehovah, is my strength and song; and he is become my salvation. Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.
Whenever we need help we can go to Jesus and draw more water from the wells of His wonderful salvation.

How to receive Jesus' salvation
Recognize your need.
Romans 3:10—There is none righteous, no, not one.
Romans 3:23—For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
Romans 6:23—For the wages of sin is death; but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Come to Jesus.
John 6:37—Him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

2 Corinthians 6:2—Behold, now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
Repent.
Luke 5:31-32—They that are in health have no need of a physician; but they that are sick. I am not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.
Psalm 38:18—I will be sorry for my sin.
Proverbs 28:13¾He that covereth his transgressions shall not prosper:But whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall obtain mercy.

Believe in Jesus.

Romans 10:17 KJV—So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Our faith rests on the promises of God, not on our feelings. Emotions come and go, but God's Word is always the same, sure and steadfast.
Own Him as
Lord and Master.
Romans 10:9-10—Because if thou shalt confess with thy mouth Jesus as Lord, and shalt believe in thy heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved: for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
