My Experience--
How God Answered Prayer
In October of 2005, I got a speck of something, perhaps paint, stuck to my eyeball.  It was a small irritant at first, and I just kind of left it there.  But soon it became very painful, and at times I could hardly use that eye.  I got prayer for it, and most of the pain went away.  It came back now and then, although never as bad as it was at first, until early March.  It became a problem again, and I requested prayer again.  This time I had the hands of fellow male classmates laid upon me on the platform in belief for healing.  I had no trouble with it that week, and indeed I totally forgot about it.  The following Sunday I remembered it again and looked in the mirror to discover that the speck was gone.  No way was it an accident, it was there for six months, it was definitely a direct answer to prayer.

Through that experience I was taught several things.  First, prayer works, if it is done in faith, so don't just use it as a last resort, use it constantly and from the beginning.  Secondly, it's not just the prayers of the "elders" or "older saints" that are heard.  My classmates prayed in faith and God heard and answered.  I thank God for the healing, and also for the trial through which He gave me valuable knowledge about Himself.
