What God Has Been Doing in My Life

There are thousands of things God has been doing in my life that I could write about, but to me the biggest things are what He's been doing in the last year.  Ever since I was saved at the age of five, I've been relying on my Mom and Dad to teach me right from wrong and for guidance in everything I did.  I could never than them enough for all they did for me, and I will always hold them in high honor.  But it's like I had been running on their religion.  It's like I had never really accepted it for myself, or at least I hadn't started saying yes to God.  Then last year, my first year in Bible School came around.  As I slowly learned to open my heart to God, He opened my eyes and I saw a bigger reality of Jesus and the Holy Spirit.  I had suddenly awaken from my parents religion and truly started to connect with Him for myself.  Since then I've been learning to listen to the Holy Spirit, and to keep on saying "yes" to Him.  He has changed my heart so that it is easy to give Him my all.  I could go on and on about all the things He's been doing in my life in return.
